In Western musical theory a cadence is a particular series of intervals or chords that ends a phrase, section, or piece of music. Cadences give phrases a distinctive ending. An analogy can be made with punctuation, with some weaker cadences acting as commas, indicating a pause or momentary rest, while a stronger cadence will then act as the period, indicating the end of the phrase or musical sentence.

Spring Quarter Ends!! Summer Begins!!

I know that it's been almost three months since I wrote my blog... Anyways I will make up for in this post and will try to keep it updated during the summer... So after an amazing spring break to India.. I started my classes from first week of April... I had enrolled for only two courses and both of them were relatively easy compared to the earlier courses... This quarter I focused mainly on my research and also made lot of friends.. I had alteast three friends visiting me from India and Japan. I took them around Stanford, San Jose and also San Francisco.. I guess I can now call myself an expert tour guide for these places !! Also this quarter, it was pretty much partying every week end...It was a lot of fun.. I made some really good friends in my department and also in the christian fellowship that I'm a part of.... overall this quarter was a bit relaxed and I had an opportunity to experience the fun life @ Stanford... I'm now done with all my courses and started working in a research group for the summer. I'll post about my other new activities that I started in the spring and also about my plans for summer.....
